Let's start with the hard bit - Mental Health discourse is hard! But what is surprisingly easy, speaking from personal experience, is acknowledging changes in our mood and reminding ourselves that we have seen better moments. Remembering few affirmations/ thoughts/ positive words in a moment of crisis, had an oddly calming effect on me. So I lettered them - as a nod of gratitude and also as a physical reminder for later. Since often in a moment of crisis we forget to latch on to the positive and let ourselves plummet. Be nicer to yourself, slow down, disconnect and travel, chase progress and not crazy perfection.
